Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on 14 April1976. Monroe Christian School is a exclusively Christian private school for children of all ages. As a student in secondary school, Ward initially attended Ouachita High School. However, she then transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer following her Junior year. A short time after her graduation she attended Northeast Louisiana University. When she was thirteen years old Ward began modeling, leaving school, and then moving from Louisiana to New York in order to achieve this. After a few years, she decided to also try her hand at acting. At first, in the 1970s she played an uncredited character in the show All My Children. The film was not a huge success in cinemas however it did very well on home video and cable. Ward made a cameo appearance in Shallow Hal - a smash success the next year. She also played a part as a guest star on numerous TV shows as well as direct-to dvd movies. The ABC Family Drama series Make It or Break It's main team for its initial two seasons Chloe Kmet played the mother of a young gymnast in the 2009 season.
